Our Story
How I view DesireX.com at PremiumBrands and the choices involved in building a business on the web.
PremiumBrands.com is my showcase for selected names and the business directions they could support. As its founder, I am interested in DesireX.com as an expressive identity that a future owner would define through a specific offer. My starting question is what that offer would ask a customer to choose.
My background with a business identity
I acquired the business under the i-Newswire.com name in 2007 and upgraded it to Newswire.com in 2015. The experience shaped how I think about a name’s relationship to the company using it. An address should fit the business introduction and continue to make sense as the explanation becomes more detailed.
An expressive identity works differently from a category phrase. I would assess the language around it as carefully as the name itself. A founder should be able to make the offer plain, so the customer can judge something concrete rather than only react to the tone.
Giving an expressive word a useful context
DesireX leaves room for a considered collection or a distinct editorial point of view. One product or one useful piece of work would make a sensible first presentation. That gives the identity a practical setting and helps reveal whether the intended audience understands it as the founder expects.
I believe AI makes it more accessible to prepare an early website or test a software concept. A founder can use that opportunity to explore how the offer is introduced. The value comes from the questions the first version reveals, with taste, sourcing and research quality still requiring the business’s own judgment.
The studio supporting these presentations
My strategy and development studio is OnlineBusiness.com. It supports the presentations behind PremiumBrands and my interest in developing useful online businesses. The domain offering remains at PremiumBrands, where I discuss the name and acquisition with people who have a direction in mind.
If DesireX.com suits what you are planning, Let’s Talk. Tell me what the first product or piece of work would be and who it is for. The Discover the Name explains the domain opportunity so that we can begin the acquisition conversation with a clear understanding of the offer.
